Maa Baglamukhi Temple is located in the scenic Kangra district of Himachal Pradesh. It is easily accessible by road, with regular bus and taxi services from nearby towns.
If you’re flying in, the closest airport is Gaggal Airport, also known as Kangra Airport. It’s about 11 km from Kangra Town and just 8 km from the town itself. Dharamshala is around 15 km away. The airport has regular flights to Delhi and can hold around 100 passengers. If you're coming from other cities, you can easily find connecting flights through Delhi.
For train travelers, the nearest station is Kangra Mandir Railway Station (KGMR) in Halehr Khurd, which is about 40 km from the temple. Many trains come here from different parts of India, so you should have options. Once you get off the train, it takes about an hour to reach the temple by road.
If you prefer driving, the temple is located in the village of Bankhandi, about 40 km before you reach Kangra, along the Ranital-Dehra Road. The Kangra district is easy to reach by road. You can hire a cab, drive yourself or catch a bus from nearby places like Shimla (around 150.4 km away), Chamba (about 148.6 km) and McLeod Ganj (around 48.9 km). If you're coming from Delhi, it's about a 435 km drive to get to Kangra.
